

Alb Leisa Linsenschmaus
A wholesome, tasty lentil dish with lentils from the Swabian Alb and spelt from southern Germany. Finely seasoned with sage, thyme, caraway, fennel, pepper, etc. Lentils have been grown on the Swabian Alb for centuries with barley or oats as a supporting crop. Today, the farmers of the organic producer association "Alb-Leisa" are growing the Alb-Leisa lentil again, which was thought to be lost.

Preparation: Salt & spices are included, add seasoning if necessary.
Pour the contents of the packet into 1 litre of cold water, cover and bring to the boil, then cook covered for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Our tip: Season the finished dish with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and a dash of vinegar or balsamic vinegar. Enjoy!
