It comes from the rock salt which is extracted in its original form as pure natural salt from the foot hills of the salt range near Warcha, southern Punjab, Pakistan.

The Salt Mountains lie between the Indus and the Himalayas and stretch almost 350 kilometers from the east to the west of the Himalayas.
Since salt is a natural product, it comes in different colors, such as red or white, and varies in different crystal shapes.
It is also known as “Crystal Rock Salt”.
