This herbal mixture has been specially made for use with your VapoWesp smoking box*. Simply put the VapoPowder with ground coffee (not included) into the bowl of the smoking box and light it in several places until the mixture starts to glow.

Cozy meals outdoors are one of the nice things about summer - but unfortunately annoying wasps, which are attracted by the smell of food, are not. Wasps can not only be real pests, but can even be dangerous for allergy sufferers. A tried and tested household remedy for driving away the uninvited guests is smoldering coffee powder, because the rising smoke signals "danger" to the wasps and keeps them away. VapoWesp was developed for the optimal use of this household remedy to drive away wasps.

The coffee powder can be poured into the fireproof VapoWesp smoking box, mixed with VapoPowder and lit. The special, naturally scented VapoWesp herbal mixtures give the smoldering coffee powder, which normally smells unpleasant after a while, a pleasant aroma. The variably adjustable lid openings ensure that the smoke can be regulated as required.

Wasps – annoying, but also important
Although wasps can be a nuisance to humans due to their stings and the allergic reactions that come with them, they play an important role in the ecosystem. A wasp nest consumes between 500 g and 2 kg of other insects per day - thus also eliminating fly and mosquito larvae.
In addition, adult wasps mostly feed on nectar and, like bees, play an important role in pollinating flowers. Wasps are therefore an important part of the ecosystem.

Can you get rid of wasps naturally?
VapoWesp was developed by Claudia & Leslie Eckert to enable as many people as possible to drive away wasps with harmless smoke. Smoke signals "danger" to the insects - an instinct that is thousands of years old and ensures that they turn away and stay away from the smoke. Beekeepers also use this approach to distract bees. To use this method at home, you light commercially available coffee powder until it smolders and begins to smoke. With the VapoWesp smoking box, we have developed a fireproof container in which the coffee powder can smolder safely. Our VapoPowder mixtures of natural herbs, flowers and spices also give the normally strong-smelling smoke a pleasant aroma.

The application is simple & uncomplicated
First, mix 2 heaped teaspoons of fresh, dry coffee powder and 1 heaped teaspoon of VapoPowder and pour it into the stainless steel container of the smoker box. Then light the mixture in several places with a stick lighter. This amount will smoke for about an hour. It can take a while until it starts to glow - so be patient. Only when smoke rises do you put the stainless steel lid on with the slider open so that the powder gets enough oxygen. You can use the slider to regulate the rising smoke. After use in the smoker box, the remaining, cooled ash is also ideal as fertilizer in the flower bed.
